WORK PROCESS:
The process begins with stoneware clay which is formed using a combination
of wheel-thrown forms and slab construction techniques. The forms are assembled,
sculptural additions are applied, impressed with texture, coated with engobe,
dried, bisque fired to 1800F, coated again with engobe, fired to 2300F, in-painted
with acrylic, and gilded.
